6 -8 cloves of garlic finely chopped

3 Tbsp of oil (avocado, vegetable, olive oil or canola)

¾ cups of honey

1 tsp of dark Soya Sauce or 2 tsp of light brown Soya Sauce

2 tsp Pepper

2 tsp salt

2 tsp adobo

2 tsp all-purpose season (or your favourite chicken and rib seasoning)

2 Tbsp Onion powder

1 Chopped green onion (optional)

1 chopped Red Chilli (optional)

Step 1: Add your chicken to a bowl and season them with the seasonings listed. You chicken can be used right away but the longer it marinates in the seasoning the better it will taste. You can let it sit for 30 minutes before use.

Step 2: add your chopped garlic, soya sauce and honey to a small bowl, mix together and set aside.

Step 3: Place your frying pan on medium to high heat and add your cooking oil. You want you pan to be hot enough so that you can get a good sear/crust on your chicken.

Tip: To prevent your meat from steaming or boiling Make sure to use a big enough and shallow frying pan. If your frying pan is too small sear your chicken in smaller batches.  Your goal is to get a golden crust on your chicken.

Let this cook on low to medium heat for 1 min while stirring and then add a tablespoon a water and let it cook for 2 – 3 minutes or once it starts to bubble.

Step 7: Add the chicken back into the pan with all the juices and make sure to nestle the chicken in the pan and occasionally flip until it is fully covered in the honey garlic glaze.
